[Per SSA website]- During a Trial work period (TWP), a beneficiary receiving Social Security disability benefits (SSDI) may 'test' their ability to work for at least 9 months and still be considered disabled. During a Trial work period, a person will still receive full Social Security benefits and health insurance, regardless of how much is earned, as long as, they report work activity and continue to have a disabling impairment. You can still complete our application. However, please note that you will have to close your VR case and dis-assign your ticket from that agency, ('if' we determine that we can help you & if you want our job placement assistance). We are very sorry, but because Employment Options is an entirely Virtual company, with no face to face meetings, we are unable to properly assist deaf benefecaries and/or those who need a relay service or interpreter.
