Position: Marketing Consultant

Job Summary:

The Marketing Consultant is a contract position with the potential to become permanent which will assist our company with coordinating and developing marketing policies, programs, and campaigns. We are a unique company assisting people with disabilities get back to work. The Consultant must have experience with marketing to a service-based industry.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze information to identify new markets and customers, competitor analysis, hashtag research, tools and program research
  • Review existing marketing campaigns and strategies.
  • Develop a marketing plan with the aim to increase quality leads, including scheduling of posts, webinars, review of marketing and advertising spend, social media platforms, blogging, mailing lists, and press releases
  • Coordinate marketing between three divisions to ensure consistency and optimize outreach 
  • Collaboration with communications manager re: messaging and timing
  • Ad promotion (multiple platforms including Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, Reddit, Instagram) including review of spend and optimization
  • Track and analyze ad spend and  performance 
  • Gather and track data, including Google Analytics, to inform marketing decisions and develop outreach strategies
  • Work with business development and key managers to review and give recommendations for webinars, robocalling lists and mailing lists 
  • Review current database management practices (contacts) and provide advice
  • Collaborate with other staff and manage blogs i.e. how to promote, copy for blog, and scheduling
  • Maintain knowledge of trends and developments in the market; identifies needs for new products and services and makes recommendations to leadership.
  • Collaborate, participate in, and coordinate promotional activities and/or trade shows and conferences.
  • Ongoing review and suggestions for social media content keeping in mind our branding

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite, including Drive, Sheets, GMail or related software.
  • Proficient in using and analyzing key social media platforms and their ads manager dashboards including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIN and Reddit.  Thorough understanding of principles and methods used to promote, display, and sell services.
  • Knowledge of AI usage in a marketing and  sales setting. 
  • Knowledge of marketing tools to assist with easy tracking and management of marketing and advertising across multiple platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptable and willing to stay current on the latest marketing trends 
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, including new GA4 platform and Bing
  • Knowledge of the CAN-SPAM Act and other laws in relation to database management and email marketing campaigns. 
  • Team player able to work with our 3 divisions to ensure consistency of information and coordination of postings. 
  • Ability to create, implement, and monitor advertising budgets.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.

Experience 

  • At least five years of marketing experience in a related field.
  • Experience in working with marketing plans and campaigns for service-based companies, with preferred experience working with the disability community  
  • Preferred experience with working with multiple divisions within one company

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Salary: 

Will be commensurate with experience
