We are currently seeking a Senior Medical Equipment Planner. This position would be located in
our Dallas, TX office, there if flexibility and this position could also work out of our Phoenix, AZ or Naperville, IL offices. This role would require applying previous industry experiences to help grow our consulting practice with unique products, and demonstrate a progressive attitude. In this fast pace work environment the duties would be to develop equipment lists, interpret medical equipment needs from clients, perform and analyze inventory of client’s existing medical equipment, develop and manage equipment budgets, manage the Procurement Management phase for major projects, coordinate the delegation of work to India based staff as necessary, and participate and lead client meetings.
The ideal candidate will possess:
8 + years of related experience in the field of medical equipment planning, materials management, supply chain, clinical engineering or related fields
A bachelor’s degree (minimum) in an allied health discipline, healthcare administration or biomedical engineering
Ability to manage all activities related to delivering Medical Equipment Services
Strong oral and written communications skills
Supporting other Sr. Medical Equipment Planners on as-needed basis as well as managing their own projects
Experience in building projects – medical equipment planning preferred
Understanding of basic construction terminology and processes (including reading floor plans)
The ability to effectively relate to a wide range of healthcare professionals, architects, manufacturers, engineers and general contractors
Prior experience with Attainia Planning software desirable
Generate monthly billings – Update WIP and monthly PM reports
The ability to discuss equipment technology with executive level personnel in a consulting role
Able to Travel 30-50%%
