Welcome, as always, and thank you for joining us for this month’s blog as we continue to explore some insights into my journey back into the workspace via the Ticket-To-Work Program (MEO Style). Re-entry into the workspace is not an easy process

Welcome and thank you for joining us as we continue the journey from one side of the workspace to the other, highlighting those things along the pathway that have been helpful or perhaps distractions to be overcome!

If you’re joining us for the first time or have returned for some education, inspiration or motivation…Welcome! Thank you for joining us as we continue journeying from one side of the workspace, to the other! Our hope is that there is something about my journey through the Ticket-To-Work Program (MEO Style) that will be helpful to those with (dis)abilities and their support network.

We hope you find something in this space to inform you about the Ticket-To-Work Program (MEO Style), through the eyes of someone who has walked the walk. The TTWP doesn’t just change the lives of those who have (dis)abilities and have been gifted a ticket, but the positive effects of returning to work trickle down and flow all around us.

Thank you for joining us again, or for the first time! Our hope is that there is something about my journey through the Ticket-To-Work Program (MEO Style) that will encourage or inspire you. And, perhaps, even pique your interest and curiosity about how it all works, to work with a (dis)ability.

As I think back over my journey back into the workspace, via the Ticket To Work Program (MEO Style), I’m reminded that in life some of the jobs we work aren’t always the jobs we prefer.

If you’ve been with me since the first blog, then you have many of the puzzle pieces to my journey…from being diagnosed with an invisible (dis)ability, to stepping back into the workspace after almost 4 years. I had to educate myself about my (dis)ability…

As we all know, life can be a bit unpredictable, sometimes. One thing we can be sure of is that things are going to happen. We can try preparing for the worst-case scenarios, as much as we can, as we do with hurricanes.

When you acquire a (dis)ability later in life…there is no road map. Each of our journeys are as different as our (dis)abilities.
