Our Naperville, Illinois Structural team is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer.  This person will be the lead/primary structural designer of large complex commercial buildings, industrial facilities, medical complexes, educational facilities, churches, military, and governmental projects.  Additional responsibilities would include:

  • Be responsible for complete design by discipline for projects of all sizes
  • Make major design recommendations and design decisions with little input from senior staff
  • Plan design work and assign design duties to staff working on projects
  • Be a part of the interviewing team for upcoming projects
  • Effectively serve as a Project Manager on large complex projects or multiple smaller projects
  • Identify prospective clients, assist in marketing to develop new clients and prepare proposal services
  • Participate in presentation to clients

The ideal candidate would:

  • Have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering
  • Have prior work experience – 8 years  – in the Building/Consulting Industry
  • PE Licensure – SE License preferred
  • Have excellent communication skills – verbal and written
  • Be able to work with Revit
