As a Senior Medical Equipment Planner, you will be responsible for:
- Responsible for supporting other Sr. Medical Equipment Planners on as-needed basis as well as managing own projects
- Plan and conduct inventory of existing equipment
- Develop equipment room legends
- Assist in conducting user group meetings
- Maintain/update project meeting notes
- Develop and manage equipment budgets
- Assist with identifying equipment placement on drawings
- Maintain/update master equipment list
- Manage the Procurement Management phase for major projects
- Coordinate the delegation of work to India based staff as necessary
- Generate monthly billings
- Update WIP and monthly PM reports
- Assist with business development
Qualified candidates should possess the following skills, education, and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Clinical Engineering or other related field
- Professional Engineer License
- Minimum 5-10 years in equipment planning, materials management, supply chain, clinical engineering or related field
- Ability to manage all activities related to delivering MEQ services
- Ability to travel as deemed necessary – 40%
- Understanding of basic construction terminology and processes (including reading floor plans) • Ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines and adapt to a changing business environment
- Proficient in utilizing web-based equipment planning software tool (Attainia)
- Highly proficient in time management, organization and planning prioritization
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
