Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager with previous experience managing water and wastewater projects to join the North Carolina Water Team for a world-renowned engineering firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing water/wastewater design, permitting, and construction services through the full life cycle of the project.
  • Providing technical guidance, senior leadership, and mentoring engineering staff to enhance our water services design capabilities.
  • Being responsible for scope, schedule, budget development, monitoring, and for projects.
  • Assisting with the preparation of design engineering drawings and specifications on large complex, multi-discipline design projects.
  • Building and maintaining positive working relationships with key decision-makers in our clients’ organizations.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering related discipline
  • 10 years of related experience.
  • Professional engineering (PE) license with the ability to sign off and/or alter engineering drawings.
  • Previous experience working on and managing design projects for municipal drinking water, wastewater, and/or pump stations.
  • Previous experience working directly with clients.
  • Previous experience working and managing projects for municipal clients in this area.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Project Manager/Team Lead with previous experience managing water and wastewater projects to join the North Carolina Water Team. In this position, you will be the main point of contact for planning and design for multi-discipline projects in the fields of large-diameter conveyance (water distribution and wastewater collection), water and wastewater pumping systems, and water/wastewater municipal treatment projects in North Carolina. In this position, you will manage multi-million-dollar planning and design projects, manage project teams, and develop the scope and budget for projects.
